Seoul International Bookarts Fair

Booklyn is proud to exhibit at the Seoul International Bookarts Fair running from May 14th through the 18th at the COEX Pacific Hall, Samsung Dong, Seoul, South Korea.

When are in Seoul also be sure and see Booklyn and Organik co-founders Kurt Allerslev, Marshall Weber and Christopher Wilde's Spice Cave exhibition of drawings at Gallery Andante, the opening reception starts at 17:00 (5PM) Friday May 16th, 2008, at 93 Sokeuk-dong, Jongro-gu, Seoul. This exhibit is open till June 13th.

Its an exciting year for the Bookarts Fair, (which is part of the Seoul International Book Fair) because the 28th IPA (International Publishers Association) Publishers Congress is happening in Seoul at the same time.

This year Booklyn will be exhibiting in three booths.

Booth One will feature recently appointed Vice President of the Central Art Academy of Fine Art in Beijing and MacArthur Genius Award Winner Xu Bing,

Beyond the Wall of Sleep, Wolfgang Buchta

Booth Three will feature an incredible selection of artists books from around the world including new books by Wolfgang Buchta from Austria, Scott Williams from San Franscico, and Veronika Schaepers from Tokyo.

Booklyn is proud to have been invited and sponsored to exhibit for its third year of attending the Bookfair. Booklyn artist and curator Marshall Weber will host Booklyn's booths and also present a lecture on Booklyn's database and the international marketing and distribution of artists books (time and location TBA).
