In hiatus, the old style First Tuesday, used to be described as below

Curious about Booklyn? Want to actually touch and read one of those "artist books" that you've just read about elsewhere on this site? Want to meet some of the other artists that are populating the fine borough of Brooklyn (and beyond)? Looking for feedback on a project you're working on? Do you have some burning questions about progressive arts education, alternative publishing or artists and writers' resources?

If so, come to the 1st Tuesday Open Salon, held every month. Bring the drink or snack of your choice (or don't - let's be realistic here) and join us for an evening of readin', talkin', and the chance to meet the kind of person who writes notes on the back of their hand and pauses thoughtfully before speaking.
